Title 24, Part 6: 2019 Residential Introduction

The 2019 update to the Residential Building Energy Efficiency Standards requires new and altered homes to become more efficient. The standards have been adopted, and implemented for projects permitted on or after January 1, 2020 This full day training provides an overview of many of the 2019 changes that affect California raters, builders and officials in the upcoming code. It includes Envelope, Mechanical, Domestic Hot Water, Lighting and Onsite Renewable Systems compliance. The 2019 Code paves the way for achieving full Zero Net Efficiency in later code cycles. New positive issues have developed with the utilization of Solar PV, what is ‘Duck Curve’ and how does that require new strategies for grid harmonization/integration to bring maximum value to home owners, the grid and ultimately the environment.

Class Cancellation Policy:

In cases of class cancellation due to severe weather or limited enrollment, registrants will be notified by email and the cancellation will be prominently announced on this website. Cancelled classes will be rescheduled and information on the new class date will be emailed directly to registrants. Registrants who have paid for a cancelled class will have the ability to reschedule the class or request a full refund

Attendee Cancellation/Reschedule Policy:

Classes can be rescheduled or cancelled with a full refund within 48-hours of the class start time. Refunds will be credited directly to the credit card account used to register for the class (no exceptions).
